Media facade lighting
A record-breaking 10mX10mx10m LED Cube was designed, manufactured, and installed within 7 days by Fractal! The cube stood tall in all its glory to welcome the delegations for COP 28 arriving at the JETEX VIP Terminal in Dubai. The cube allows for a two-sided split display or one continuous cubic display both optimized for playing anamorphic content.

Media facade lighting
Fractal has designed the Jumeirah Lake Towers at the beach with a well-planned lighting infrastructure, featuring LED screens and LED strip lights. This setup ensures optimal visibility for all night swimmers.
Artistic architectural lighting transforms a building’s exterior into a visual statement highlighting form, texture, and material through carefully composed light rather than simple illumination. Our designers study each facade’s geometry, cladding material, and surroundings to create a lighting scheme that expresses the building’s character after dark, whether that means a warm, minimalist glow for a heritage property or a bold, sculptural composition for a modern landmark.
Projection mapping uses high-powered projectors to display moving images, animations, and synchronized light effects directly onto a building’s facade turning architecture into a temporary or permanent canvas. We design and deliver projection mapping for events, festivals, brand activations, and cultural celebrations, mapping content precisely to each facade’s geometry so visuals align perfectly with windows, columns, and architectural lines.

Conceptual Design
Our lighting designers study your building’s architecture, materials, and surroundings before producing a detailed lighting concept. We present photorealistic visualisations of how your building will look at night, covering multiple scenarios and colour treatments. Every concept is developed with your brand identity and the viewing distances and angles specific to your site.
Engineering Design
We produce complete engineering packages: lighting layout drawings, cable routing, driver schedules, control system schematics, and fixture specifications. Our documentation is formatted to meet Dubai Municipality, DCD (Dubai Civil Defence), and Saudi Building Code requirements, simplifying your approval process.
Lighting Supply
As an authorised integrator for leading facade lighting manufacturers, we supply fixtures, drivers, controllers, and accessories. All outdoor products supplied carry a minimum IP65 rating. We specify and procure only products with verified L70 lifespan ratings of 50,000 hours or above, ensuring long-term performance in GCC conditions.
Lighting Installation
Our installation teams work within live building environments with full HSE compliance. We use non-invasive mounting systems wherever possible to protect facade warranties. All electrical work is carried out by licensed electricians and is subject to internal inspection before handover.
Testing & Commissioning
Before any system goes live, our commissioning team verifies fixture alignment, photometric output, control system response, and scene programming against the approved design. We produce a commissioning report documenting measured lux levels and system performance, which is provided to the client as part of the handover package.

Our Riyadh office manages projects across the Kingdom, including our recent delivery of the Bank Al Bilad media facade on King Abdulaziz Road. We are familiar with Saudi Building Code requirements, SASO standards for electrical installations, and the project approval processes of major Saudi developers and government bodies.

Dynamic and media facade systems may also require a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) if the facade is visible from a major road.
